SLeague Update

Super Reds v Balestier Khalsa 1-1 (Yu Hyun Koo ; Bryan Soane) 2,194
Geylang United v DPMM 0-0 2,595
Albirex Niigata v Woodlands Wellington 3-0 (Akira Takase 8',14', Kenji Adachihara 69') 1,518

Super Reds successful run last season seems a very long time ago as a debut goal by Aussie Bryan Soame deprived them of their first three points of the season.

DPMM's fine form continued as their point at Bedok Stadium keeps them in 3rd place and unbeaten while the Eagles are 5th on five points.

Albirex's first win of the seaon lifted them off the bottom after three straight defeats.

Tonight sees Home United take on Gombak United. Sivaji's Protectors have struggled this season in the SLeague collecting just four points from their three games and sitting in 6th place, five points behind joint leaders Gombak and SAF.

Darren Stewart's Bulls are in fine form and this is something they have carried over from the last campaign. Indeed their 12 game run since they last lost to Home United is title winning form.

Gombak United 12 10 2 0 27-9 32

They may have bean Vietnamese opponents Binh Duong midweek in the AFC Cup but tonight you get the feeling it is the Bulls who are the favourites.
