Persija v Persita 4-0

9' - Ismed Sofyan (Persija)
29' - Greg Nwokolo (Persija)
50' - Aliyudin (Persija)
77' - Bambang (Persija)

Ismed doesn't score too many but when he does they're belters. Last season his 40 yard effort against Persik won Top Corner's Goal of the Season. Tonight his free kick from just on the touch line 40 yards out is sure to be a contender.

Nwokolo throughout the first half was a constant thorn in the side of the Persita defence with his intelligent running and it was one such run on to a slide rule pass from Robertinho that made it 2-0.

Early in the second half Nwokolo dispossessed Bruno Casmir in the centre circle and his pass released Aliyudin. For once the tireless striker's first touch let him down but there was no Persita defender to take advantage and his shot across goal went in off the post.

For all their possession Persija got only their third corner on 77'. Both Bambang and Aliyudin attacked Robertinho's flick on with BP getting the final touch and it was 4-0 Persija.

A comfortable three points for the Kemayoran Tigers and a boost to the goal difference means it was a satisfactory day at the office for coach Danurwindo's men. But putting nine goals past PKT and Persita, while very satisfying, is all well and good. But they need to go on the road and get results at places like Persik and Arema in the second half of the seaon if their title race isn't to come off the rails.
