KL Plus Bemoan Lack of Quality

KL Plus finding it hard to get good players
PETALING JAYA: KL Plus FC are hard pressed to fill the vacuum left behind by their foreign players for their debut in the Super League next year.
Team manager Husni Mohd Yusuf said that the attacking trio of Nigerian Alex Agbo and Brazilians Tercio Nunes Machado and Andrin Dario Tranidad were instrumental in KL Plus’ strong showing to finish as the runners-up in the Premier League.
“It will not be easy to get replacements of their calibre,” he said yesterday.
In the new season that kicks off on Jan 3, no foreign player will feature in the Malaysian Super League (MSL).
Husni added that they had retained only six players from the previous squad and were scouting for the right buys.
“The local players are in better demand now following the ban on foreign players. But the problem is that their asking price is more and at times double than what they earned before,” he said.
KL Plus have retained Mat Zan Mat Aris as coach.
